DIABETES/INTRODUCTION, TYPES, SYMPTOMS, AND PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF DIABETES.

                                 DIABETES
INTRODUCTION:
Diabetes is a disease that occurs when the body’s blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. Glucose is your main source of energy and comes from the food you eat. Insulin, a hormone secreted by the pancreas, helps glucose from food get into your systemic regulation which will be used for energy. Diabetes occurs when there is an inability in the body to produce insulin. In most cases, the body doesn’t secrete enough insulin which is required by the body. Glucose then stays in your blood and doesn’t reach your cells. Then glucose starts accumulating in the cell, which produces toxic effects.
This untreated high blood sugar from diabetes can damage our nerves, eyes, kidneys, and other organs. But studying diabetes and taking steps to prevent or manage it can help us protect our health.
Although diabetes has no permanent cure. But doctors and pharmacists are continuously striving to come out with an effective cure.

DIABETES/INTRODUCTION, TYPES, SYMPTOMS, AND PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF DIABETES.

TYPES OF DIABETES:

Generally, diabetes is classified into three categories.
Type 1 diabetes- this happens when the body loses the ability to make insulin or can only make a very small amount of insulin. Type 1 diabetes is usually caused by an autoimmune process, and your body’s immune system mistakenly destroys the insulin-producing cells. About 10% of individuals with diabetes have type 1 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes- In type 2 diabetes, our body does not make or use insulin well. We can develop type 2 diabetes at any age, even during childhood. However, this type of diabetes occurs most often in
2 / 3
middle-aged and older people. Type 2 is the most common type of diabetes.
Gestational diabetes- Gestational diabetes develops in some women when they are pregnant. Most of the time, this type of diabetes goes away after the baby is born. However, if you’ve we have gestational diabetes, you have a greater chance of developing type 2 diabetes later in life. Many times diabetes diagnosed during pregnancy is type 2 diabetes.

SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES:

Just any other disease diabetes also has some symptoms which should never be ignored. Diabetes can be easily detected in a person if he or she shows the following symptoms.
Hunger and fatigue. Our body converts the food you eat into glucose that your cells use for energy. But our cells need insulin to take in glucose. If our body doesn't make enough or any insulin, or if your cells resist the insulin your body makes, the glucose can't get into them and you have no energy. This can make us hungrier and more tired than usual.
Urinating more often and being thirstier. The average person usually has to urinate between four and seven times in 24 hours, but people with diabetes may go a lot more. Normally, our body reabsorbs glucose as it passes through our kidneys. But when diabetes pushes your blood sugar up, your kidneys may not be able to bring it all back in. This causes the body to make more urine, and that takes fluids. The result: You'll have to go more often. We might urinate out more, too. Because you're peeing so much, you can get very thirsty. When you drink more, you'll also pee more.
A dry mouth and itchy skin is also an important symptom of diabetes. Because our body is using fluids to make urinate, there's less moisture for other things. We could get dehydrated, and your mouth may feel dry. Dry skin can make you itchy.
Blurred vision. Changing fluid levels in our bodies could make the lenses in our eyes swell up. They change shape and can’t focus.

PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF DIABETES:

Thanks to modern-day science, diabetes can be treated successfully. And the person could be cured by simple medications and therapies. Doctors have prepared many lifestyles which we can live to prevent diabetes. Some healthy habits can also be maintained to prevent diabetes, some of which are
Use any medication strictly as prescribed. Don’t make changes to your diabetes tablets without talking to your doctor about it first.
Be physically active as often as you can and sit less. Work out ways that you can maintain this activity.
Have a healthy eating plan. Choose healthy foods as well as suitable amounts.
Keep a positive mental attitude and seek advice if you are anxious or depressed from your doctor or other organisations such as Beyond Blue or Lifeline.

MY VIEW ON THE PREVENTION OF DIABETES:

According to my view, there are two ways to control or prevention of diabetes. they are
1. By Pharma
2. Non-Pharma (Naturally)
1. By pharma: According to pharma or medical treatment, we gives beta-blockers, Alpha-blockers, blood glucose lowering drug, and mostly Metformin drug are the choice of patients with type 2 diabetes.
2. By Non-pharma(natural):
According to research, it was proved that diabetes control naturally by performing many acts such as losing extra weight, more physical exercise, yoga,  eating only healthy food for a healthy body, taking healthy fruit, juice and fulfilling your body's nutrition requirements by eating healthy plants food, plants gives vitamins, mineral, carbohydrates according to your body requirement. and drinking water, eating fibre, not smoking, and not alcohol consumption if you fulfil these objectives then you can control diabetes.
