After AstraZeneca admitted that its COVID-19 vaccine, known as Covishield in India, can cause a rare side effect, the company expressed sympathy for those affected. They reassured everyone about their commitment to keeping patients safe despite concerns about these rare side effects. AstraZeneca stressed that regulatory authorities have strict standards to ensure the safety of medicines, including vaccines. They also pointed out that extensive clinical trials and real-world evidence consistently show that the vaccine is safe and effective.

Major side effects are:-

1.Pain in muscle and body

2. Redness and swelling at the injection site

3. Fatigue or tiredness

4. Normal Headache, regularly headache 

5. Muscle or joint pain

6. Chills or fever

7. Nausea, vomiting 

8. Diarrhea, felling not well 

9. Dizziness and shortness in breathing 

Minor side effects are:-

Rarely, vaccine-induced thrombotic thrombocytopenia  (VITT) also know as thrombosis thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS) which involves blood clotting (blood thickness)with low platelet counts.

and this is a symptom which enhances the risk of various disease they are:-

Heart attack, cardiac arrest, brain stroke, blood thickness, etc.
